Center Moriches High School’s girls lacrosse team recently had two players featured on “Newsday's top 100 Long Island girls lacrosse players for 2025”. Senior attacker Payton Noack and senior goaltender Riley Schildt were featured on the list.
In 2024, lefty attacker Payton Noack scored 50 goals to go along with 17 assists. She had four games with at least six goals and is committed to play at Bryant University next year. Riley Schildt stopped 64.1% of the shots she faced last year, totaling 184 saves. She is committed to play at Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2026.
“Payton and Riley both put together incredible years in 2024,” said Dr. Ricardo Soto, Center Moriches Superintendent of Schools. “This recognition is extremely well deserved and I am excited to see what they can do this year.”
