Welcome to the Guidiance Department!

The mission of the Center Moriches Guidance Department is to foster the academic, career, personal, and character growth of each student through a strong partnership with parents/guardians, staff, and community members, and the implementation of a proactive, comprehensive, and developmentally appropriate school counseling program.

The Center Moriches guidance department works to develop and strengthen students’ personal and interpersonal skills and provides students with the knowledge, tools, and guidance to achieve their individual and post-secondary goals.

Counselors will help students discover their interests, unique abilities, and personal and post-secondary goals in a way that will inspire and empower them to confidently make knowledgeable, responsible, and positive contributions in our learning community and beyond.
