A Security Update from the Superintendent of Schools

Dear Center Moriches Families and Community,

Following a thorough review of security protocols, the District has installed new signs across all school property stating that pets are not permitted on school grounds. The signs are posted at entrances, athletic fields, the track, and other areas regularly used by students and community members.

We value the community's use of our facilities, and we expect all visitors to follow this policy without exception. Pets, leashed or unleashed, are prohibited on District property at all times. Visitors who are unwilling to comply will be kindly asked to leave the grounds, and local authorities may be contacted if necessary.

The safety of our students and community is the District's top priority. We will continue to monitor our facilities closely and take whatever additional steps are necessary to keep our campuses safe for everyone.

Sincerely,
Dr. Ricardo Soto
Superintendent of Schools
