The National Art Honor Society at Center Moriches High School hosted a ceramic soup bowl-making workshop on March 5 as part of the Empty Bowls Project. The workshop raised funding for local food pantries to help feed those facing food insecurity. The Empty Bowls Project is an effort by artists to support food-related charitable organizations. It served as a reminder for students that they can help fight hunger on a community level.
