The second annual Using Our Voices Mental Health Run Series kicked off in Center Moriches on March 16. The series of student-run 5K races were created by Center Moriches High School, North Babylon High School and Connetquot High School students as a follow up to P.S. I Love You Day. The races aim to share messages about reducing stress and anxiety and building relationships through physical activity. The first race marked a huge success with more than 300 registrants.

Through planning this event, Center Moriches High School student-leaders are using their voices to promote a positive, healthy culture across Long Island. They are looking forward to collaborating with their peers in organizing the upcoming 5K races.
