Dear Parents/Guardians and Community Members, 

Starting today, one of our high school social studies teachers, for personal reasons, will not be in their classrooms for an unspecified period of time. The district has taken the necessary steps to ensure there is a qualified substitute teacher for this individual's classes to ensure uninterrupted learning and high quality instruction for students in these courses for as long as necessary.

Over the weekend, this individual was in an off-campus incident involving law enforcement. In compliance with the District's practice, guidelines, and respect for this teacher's privacy, there is no additional information we can share at this time.
