Center Moriches High School’s baseball team recently had two players featured on “Newsday's top 100 Long Island baseball players for 2025”. Senior pitcher Joey Hiller and senior catcher Brayden Hromada were featured on the list.
Both Joey Hiller and Brayden Hromada had impressive seasons in 2024 and they are both committed to Quinnipiac University for the 2026 season. Hiller recorded seven wins while sporting a 1.23 ERA. His batterymate Hromada has been the Red Devils’ starting catcher since he was an eighth grader and recorded a .423 batting average last year.
“Joey and Brayden have put together stellar baseball careers during their time at Center Moriches Schools,” said Dr. Ricardo Soto, Center Moriches Superintendent of Schools. “I am excited to see what they do together this year and beyond.”
