Center Moriches Names Troy Goetz 2025 Valedictorian

Center Moriches High School’s 2025 Valedictorian Troy Goetz.Troy Goetz has been named valedictorian of Center Moriches High School’s 2025 graduating class, with Giuliana Versacci earning the honor of salutatorian. Troy led the senior class with a weighted grade point average of 104.04, while Giuliana recorded a 103.64.

Troy Goetz, valedictorian of Center Moriches High School, is president of the National Honor Society and the Mu Alpha Theta Math Honor Society. He also serves as treasurer of the National Foreign Language Honor Society. Troy tutors underprivileged children through Learn to Be. His accomplishments extend beyond the classroom—he is an all-league tennis player, captain of the Center Moriches team, and a member at Empower Mixed Martial Arts.

Center Moriches High School’s 2025 Salutatorian Giuliana Versacci.Salutatorian Giuliana Versacci is president of both the Foreign Language Honor Society and the Future Teachers Club, and serves as vice president of the Mu Alpha Theta Math Honor Society. She is a student leader for the nonprofit organization One Love, and is also an accomplished athlete as a member of the varsity lacrosse and volleyball teams. In 2024, she received an all-county academic volleyball award.

Both Troy and Giuliana are International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program candidates. As of now, neither has finalized their college plans for the fall.

“Throughout their time in the Center Moriches School District, Troy and Giuliana have proven themselves as dedicated, hard-working students,” said Superintendent of Schools Dr. Ricardo Soto. “This accomplishment is well deserved, and all of us in the community are excited to see them become successful leaders in the future.”
