To promote 21st century learners, the use of technology, whether it is individual student devices or interactive classroom whiteboards, has become an integral part of our instructional program. Providing our students with the proper tools, our colleagues with customized supports, and ensuring that we continue to invest in our infrastructure is essential to sustaining a sound program. The purpose of the Technology Committee is to review current technology in the district, assess needs, and make recommendations to the Board of Education and Superintendent of Schools to maintain and enhance current practices. Guidelines and frameworks established by the New York State Education Department (NYSED) and other support resources, will be reviewed and referenced when necessary. The Committee is open to all in the community and welcomes participation.
