Incoming Center Moriches Middle School students let their creativity flow during the art enrichment open studio program. Art teacher Renee DiMeo hosted sessions throughout the summer months to give students a space to work on art projects of their choice while exploring different materials and mediums. The program culminated with a gallery wall exhibit where student artists displayed their favorite pieces.

It is a summer full of science at Center Moriches Middle School! Incoming sixth, seventh and eighth graders had the opportunity to participate in the summer enrichment program throughout July. Students learned about several different topics and disciplines including engineering, coding, design and microscopic life. They participated in hands-on activities relating to each topic, engaging them in scientific, summer fun!

Student musicians in Center Moriches are stepping on stage for the Summer Band Enrichment Extravaganza program. The free program invites incoming sixth through 12th graders to meet twice a week during the summer months to tune their skills and prepare for a performance. The program will culminate in a concert held on Aug. 8, at 7 p.m.

Not only does the program allow students to practice their instruments while school is out of session, but it also allows middle and high school students to learn from each other in a fun environment.
